📜 The Life of Buddha
Buddha was born as Siddhartha Gautama in the 6th century BCE in Lumbini, Nepal. Born into royalty, Siddhartha lived a sheltered life, unaware of the suffering outside his palace. However, upon encountering sickness, aging, and death during his travels, he was deeply moved and sought answers to the human condition.
He eventually left his life of luxury and embarked on a journey of self-discovery. After years of meditation and ascetic practices, Siddhartha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, becoming the Buddha, the "Awakened One." He then dedicated his life to teaching others the path to liberation from suffering.
